Transportation Specialist Joins Synaxis Group

Edward L. Bass has joined Synaxis Group as a Transportation Specialist/Vice President. For the past five years Bass served as Vice President Marketing/Client Services Total Transport at CNA Risk Management. At CNA he was responsible for Transportation Safety Services, Head of the Training Institute and New Product Development. Prior to his tenure at CNA, Bass was Manager of the Transportation Specialist Unit at Travelers Insurance.

Before his career in insurance, Bass was a senior manager for Roadway Express and for Morgan Southern, Inc. “Ed knows both sides of the risk management picture.” Haynes explained. “His depth and breadth of experience is crucial to providing the level of service that is essential in the current market. Having Ed on board will be a significant advantage. Ed has the expertise to evaluate and design programs to help lower costs.
