SAIF is distributing a $50 million dividend to its policyholders.

The dividend reflects SAIF’s continued financial strength and it represents roughly 8.4% of eligible premium, according to the organization.

This year’s dividend was supported in part by favorable reserve development in 2025, reflecting continued declines in claim frequency and other factors. At the same time, SAIF said it considered pressures from rising medical costs, investment uncertainty, and future capital needs.
In October, 50,138 eligible policyholders will receive the dividend, which will be calculated based on premium for policies whose terms ended in 2025.
