People Moves: XPT Specialty Salt Lake City Makes Two Senior Hires

XPT Specialty hired Travis Hirschi as a producer and branch manager and Kristin Miller as an underwriter in its Salt Lake City, Utah, office.

Hirschi and Miller will work with retail agents to support hard-to-place and non-standard commercial risks across a range of industries and coverages.

Hirschi has more than 20 years of insurance experience on the retail and wholesale sides of the market. He spent his first several years as a retail agent and agency owner before transitioning to the wholesale E&S space. Hirschi previously served as regional director for Scottish American/Novatae Risk Group, where he opened and built the Intermountain West territory, as senior team leader at CRC Group and as an underwriter/broker at Burns & Wilcox.

Miller joins XPT with more than 15 years of experience in property/casualty insurance, spanning commercial underwriting, E&S brokerage and account management. Most recently at CRC Group, she focused on evaluating risk, selecting carriers and positioning accounts strategically across the marketplace.

XPT is headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut.
