WCF Insurance Promotes Co to Chief Operating Officer

WCF Insurance promoted Janice Co to chief operating officer. Co will play a part in the strategic evolution, overseeing day-to-day operations across the organization.

Co joined WCF in 2022 as the senior vice president of small business. Before joining WCF, she was chief strategy officer for Prudential’s group insurance and retirement businesses and held executive positions in marketing and strategy for IFG Companies, Tower Group Companies, The Hartford, and other financial services companies. Her background also includes experience at A.T. Kearney and finance and strategy roles at CNA.

Spera Joins Alliant as SVP in Real Estate Specialty

Margot Spera joined Alliant Insurance Services, headquartered in Irvine, California, as senior vice president, Alliant Specialty, within the company’s real estate & hospitality specialty vertical.

Spera has over 16 years of casualty broking experience. Before joining Alliant, she was senior vice president and led the real estate casualty team at a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm, where she focused on mid-to-large-sized real estate and hospitality portfolios nationwide.
