People Moves: Baum Named Chief Operating Officer of California Workers’ Comp Institute
The California Workers’ Compensation Institute named Gideon L. Baum chief operating officer. He will take over the role on Feb. 1.
Baum most recently served as the vice president of policy at the California Hospital Association. Before that, he was the staff director for the California Senate Committee on Labor, Public Employment, and Retirement.
He was a committee consultant with the state senate for nearly 15 years.
