Weather Service Determines Tornado Touched Down in Washington
The National Weather Service says a tornado touched down near Coulee City as severe weather hit the Inland Northwest.
The weather service confirmed the tornado touched down at about 3:30 p.m. Friday in the area, about 95 miles west of Spokane. It wasn’t immediately known if any damage occurred due to the tornado.
The Spokesman-Review reported Spokane saw one-inch hail fall in some areas along with wind and rain, at least one mudslide and a couple brush fires.
