XL Catlin Marine Business Unit Adds 3 in San Francisco

XL Catlin hired Frank Basich as senior member of the XL Catlin marine underwriting team in San Francisco.

Basich is responsible for inland marine business in the western states, exercising his 25-plus years of experience underwriting many commercial lines of insurance. He previously worked at Allianz Global Corporate, where he was inland marine team leader.

Anda Serban also joined XL Catlin’s San Francisco office from CNA where she was an inland marine underwriting specialist. She’ll apply her strong technical background into her new senior marine underwriter role at XL Catlin, servicing clients and brokers in the Western region.

Additionally, the company added Zac Miyashiro as a senior ocean marine underwriter in San Francisco. He previously worked at Chubb, where he managed complex, multinational marine accounts throughout the Western states.
