Another Former Employee at Daimler in Oregon Files Discrimination Suit
Another man who used to work for Daimler Trucks North America in Portland, Ore. has filed a discrimination lawsuit against the company.
The Oregonian newspaper reported 40-year-old Ricky Pang filed a $250,000 lawsuit on Tuesday saying he was mistreated because of his race and age.
His lawsuit is the latest in a series of actions accusing the German company with U.S. headquarters in Oregon of racially hostile work conditions.
In February, four African-American current or former employees filed a $9.5 million discrimination lawsuit saying they were targeted with nooses and harassed in other ways.
In April, an Egyptian-born engineer filed a $2 million lawsuit, claiming his supervisor often called him “bin Laden.”
