Colorado Whitewater Outfitter Insurance Lowered
The amount of insurance required for whitewater boating outfitters at Dinosaur National Monument, Colo. has been lowered.
The National Park Service raised alarms last year when it announced changes that included increasing Dinosaur outfitters’ general liability insurance requirement from $1 million to $5 million.
The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reported some outfitters are worried price increases will make the sport available only to the elite.
