Pinnacol Names Gonzales VP of Medical Operations and Healthcare Strategy

Pinnacol Assurance has named Karyn Gonzales as the company’s new vice president of medical operations and healthcare strategy.

Gonzales will oversee the performance and delivery of all medical operations, including our established and experienced network of medical providers, SelectNet. She will also play a key role in developing population health management strategies at Pinnacol.

She has more than 20 years of healthcare experience. Prior to Pinnacol, Gonzales was the national director of clinically integrated networks at Catholic Health Initiatives. Gonzales also served as senior director, network development and provider contracting, with Kaiser Permanente. In that role, she led network strategy, development and provider relations for Kaiser’s Colorado Region.

Pinnacol provides of workers’ compensation insurance to more than 55,000 Colorado businesses.
