Tornado Touchdown Confirmed In Southeast Wyoming
A tornado touched down in a sparsely populated area of Laramie County in southeast Wyoming on Sunday, the National Weather Service has confirmed.
NWS says the tornado touched down around 1 p.m. about 7 miles east of Carpenter. The agency also received reports of funnel clouds in the area.
The storm system that spawned the tornado and heavy rain later moved into neighboring Colorado and Nebraska.
