Poms Acquires Stone, Harris & Stone in California

Woodland Hills, Calif.-based Poms & Associates Insurance Brokers Inc. acquired Stone, Harris & Stone, a division of Brown and Brown.

Stone, Harris & Stone has provided commercial and personal insurance services to the greater Los Angeles area since 1925.

“Stone, Harris & Stone was an attractive choice because their book of business and the needs of their clients fit comfortably within the scope of our operations,” Poms & Associates President David Poms said in a statement.

Poms & Associates provides services including commercial insurance, employee benefits, corporate wellness, personal lines, and risk management and risk control. The firm has offices in California, Colorado, New Mexico and Washington.
