EPIC Names Brown Vice President of Claims Management
Edgewood Partners Insurance Center, a retail property-casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage, has named Hilton Brown to oversee client claims and advocacy in the company’s Los Angeles and Irvine, Calif. offices.
Brown will also provide claims support for sister company PowerGuard Insurance Services, in Irvine.
Brown brings 22 years of claims management and client advocacy experience to EPIC. At EPIC, he will oversee client care and service, claims management, claims review and audits, negotiation, and client advocacy. Brown will assist clients with education and assistance in the claims process and will ensure the receipt of timely and accurate settlement payments.
Before joining EPIC, Brown spent nine years with Marsh Inc. in Los Angeles, starting as an associate consultant and progressing to vice president. Brown managed client advocacy, negotiations with insurers and adjusters, vendor relations, settlement support, and claims oversight for general liability and property loss throughout Marsh’s entire western region.
EPIC operates from seven offices across California: Los Angeles, Irvine, Folsom, San Francisco, San Mateo Petaluma and San Ramon.
