Hub Acquires Montana’s Mountain West Insurance

Chicago-based Hub International Ltd. has acquired some of the assets of Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services LLC, a Missoula, Mont.-based retail brokerage firm. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

‘Hub International continues to look to expand in the segment of personal lines brokerage business, and Mountain West helps us with that further expansion in the city of Missoula, Montana,’ said Clark Wormer, director of mergers and acquisitions for Hub.

Asked if Hub continues to look elsewhere for acquisitions in the mountain region, Wormer replied: ‘Hub continues to explore acquisition opportunities in the state of Montana in the mountain region.’

Aimee Buller of Mountain West will join Hub International Mountain States (Hub Mountain) as account manager of personal lines. She will report to Kaye Muzzanna, operations leader of Hub Mountain.
