Wyoming Lawyer Disappointed in Public Censure
The Wyoming Supreme Court has issued a formal public censure of a Rock Springs attorney.
The Wyoming State Bar says Clark D. Stith was censured over his representation of a company that had been sued for damages. It says Stith didn’t tell opposing counsel that his client had insurance until after a settlement was reached. The state bar says insurance paid the settlement.
Stith told the Rock Springs Rocket-Miner he was disappointed in the ruling.
In its order, the Wyoming Supreme Court publicly censured Stith and ordered him to pay $7,445 in costs to the Wyoming State Bar.
