Garcia Joins California’s CompPartners

Gina M. Garcia has joined Irvine, Calif.-based CompPartners, a workers’ compensation, disability, and group health managed care organization, as manager of PPO networks. Garcia develops boutique networks customized for client’s needs locally or nationally. Physicians selected for these networks have workers’ compensation experience and are known for their positive outcomes and adhering to a return-to-work philosophy.

With expertise in high-profile hospital system negotiations, Garcia’s experience in network development and management spans nearly 20 years. Most recently, she was with CorVel Corp. as its western region PPO contracting manager, overseeing the network development contracting staff in nine states. Previously she served as a network development executive with Private Healthcare Systems Inc., a group health company, which is now owned by MultiPlan.
