RMS Hires New Senior VP of Software Development

Risk modeling company Risk Management Solutions has appointed Dr. Elizabeth Xu to the role of senior vice president of software development. In this role, Xu will apply over 20 years’ experience in both scientific modeling and large-scale, mission-critical, enterprise software development to lead RMS’ global software initiatives.

Xu has more than 10 years of scientific modeling experience. Prior to joining Newark, Calif.-based RMS, Xu spent nine years with Vitria technology, where her team built award-winning business process management (BPM) platforms and SaaS business operational intelligence suites. Previously, Xu also held a management position at IBM, where she was part of the Content Management Product Suite team.
