IIW Insurance Services Merges With Bass Underwriters

Robert K. Stahl of IIW Insurance Services Inc. in Portland, Ore., has announced an agreement to merge his operations with Bass Underwriters Inc. in April. The merger will expand Bass Underwriters’ presence in the Northwest, as well as expand the product base both entites offer to their agents. Both companies are excess and surplus lines brokers specializing in commercial property and casualty insurance.

IIW has been in business for 27 years in Portland, and Stahl will stay on to run the operation for Bass Underwriters.
