Western Marine Insurance Services Hires Olmstead as VP of Programs Underwriting

Stockton, Calif.-based Western Marine Insurance Services appointed Scott Olmstead vice president of programs underwriting of the Aquapac Plus recreation marine package programs. He will be responsible for managing the underwriting department, taking the lead on program enhancements and also assist with insurance underwriting to ensure the profitability and longevity of our programs.

Olmstead has more than 13 years of experience in the insurance industry to Western Marine Insurance Services. He started his insurance career as premium auditor and commercial lines underwriter for Bituminous Insurance Co. in Kansas City, Mo. He also has worked for SCOR Reinsurance Co. in Itasca, Ill., and for Berkley Underwriting Partners LLC in Naperville, Ill.
