Simone Rejoins Aon Risk Services of Southern California

Aon Risk Services of Southern California, a unit of Aon Corp., announced that Philip A. Simone has joined the firm as senior vice president for Aon Risk Services. He will be based in Irvine, Calif.

Simone brings more than 30 years of industry experience to Aon and rejoins the firm from Marsh, where he was a sales leader and in business development in Southern California. Prior to joining Marsh, Simone was a strategy and technology consultant with Tillinghast-Towers Perrin, consulting to global financial institutions including insurance companies, banks and investment companies. He began his insurance and financial services career in 1974 with Nationwide Insurance Co., in a 15-year career which spanned all areas of insurance underwriting, sales, marketing, operations, investments, accounting, management and operations improvement.
