American Society of Safety Engineers Names Risk Management and Insurance Award Winner
The American Society of Safety Engineers presented Christine M. Sullivan of Littleton, Colo., with the Charles V. Culbertson Outstanding Volunteer Service award and the Risk Management and Insurance Practice Specialty Safety Professional of the Year award at its annual Professional Development Conference, held June 9-12 in Las Vegas.
Sullivan was recognized with the Risk Management and Insurance (RM/I) SPY award for her involvement with the ASSE RM/I Practice Specialty through contributions to the practice specialty newsletter, RM/Insights, and her help with the committee responsible for the RM/I mini-symposium, “The Loss Control Experience,” to be hosted at CNA headquarters in Chicago on Oct. 7-8, 2008.
She also received a Charles V. Culbertson Outstanding Volunteer Service award for her work on the ASSE PDC Planning Committee. As chair of the committee, she led efforts that have increased the offerings and expanded the PDC program and enhanced the conference experience.
Sullivan was recently promoted to department manager, Risk Control Services at the Denver-based Lockton Companies LLC, a privately owned, independent insurance broker.
