RMS Names Manghani VP of Underwriting Solutions

Raj Manghani has been appointed vice president of underwriting solutions product management at Newark, Calif.-based Risk Management Solutions (RMS). In this role, Manghani will lead RMS’ efforts to help insurers use catastrophe modeling to assist with underwriting decisions. His responsibilities will include driving the development and expansion of RMS’ portfolio of insurance underwriting decision-support products

Manghani recently served as executive director, risk analytics product management at MSCI Barra, a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley. During his seven years at the firm, he was instrumental in the development and commercialization of Barra’s enterprise market risk models and analytics.
