ACE USA Names McCarty Senior VP and Western Regional Executive Officer

ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, announced that Robert J. McCarty has been appointed senior vice president and regional executive officer for ACE USA’s western region.

Based in Los Angeles, McCarty will be responsible for setting and driving the overall strategic direction for the western region, which encompasses Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado and Hawaii. He also will oversee the regional production plan, distribution, product sales and marketing, producer management, customer segmentation initiatives and general operations.

McCarty has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industries, including 12 years in the Los Angeles market. He joins ACE from American International Group, where he most recently served as branch manager for its South Coast Metro Branch. Previous positions include senior roles with AIG, GE Employers Reinsurance and CNA Reinsurance.
