NAS Enhances Tenant Discrimination Liability Insurance
Encino, Calif.-based NAS Insurance Services has enhanced its tenant discrimination liability insurance coverage with policy changes.
New wording defines covered property as an entity owned or managed by the named insured.
Insured persons now includes principals, partners, trustees and shareholders. Employees of a property manager or the property owner of any covered property are now included for a wrongful act which occurred at any covered property.
Other significant modifications include the deletion of the notification requirement if Subsidiaries are acquired, created or sold. Also deleted is the notification requirement if a covered property is acquired either through ownership or management, or is sold or ceased to be managed.
