Utah State Health Pool Offers Producer Referral Fee

HIPUtah announced it is offering a one-time $50 referral fee to producers, who help an individual make application to enroll into the HIPUtah program.

There is a new section on the HIPUtah application that must be completed for Producers to receive the referral fee after the new enrollee’s first premium payment is processed as paid by HIPUtah’s Administrator, SelectHealth.

HIPUtah is the state’s health insurance pool designed to address the problem of people with serious medical conditions, such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses, that made them unable to obtain health insurance at any price. HIPUtah also serves as the state’s Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) alternative.
