HMAA Elects Mullen Director, President and CEO
The board of HMAA, a health-care insurance provider for Hawaii small businesses, has elected J. Terrence “Terry” Mullen as director, president and CEO. Mullen succeeds Arnold “Arnie” Baptiste Jr. as president and CEO. Baptiste resigned to focus on running his family-owned businesses.
HMAA was founded in 1989 by Baptiste’s father, Arnold Baptiste Sr., with the goal of providing Hawaii’s small businesses affordable health-care insurance plans.
Mullen has 32 years of insurance consulting experience to HMAA, and will continue to serve as president and CEO of the family-owned John Mullen & Co. Inc., a large property/casualty adjusting and third-party administration company.
