Hastie Named VP of Marketing and Sales at Physicians Insurance

Physicians Insurance A Mutual Co., based in Seattle, has announced that John Hastie has been named vice president of marketing and sales. Hastie will relocate from Florida, where he was vice president – chief marketing officer at Global Insurance Management Co. and Healthcare Underwriters Group(s), which writes medical professional liability coverage in Florida, Kentucky and Ohio. Hastie was also a co-founder of Global Insurance Management Co. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and co-founder of Healthcare Enterprise Development Consortium and Global Insurance Solutions.
