Seattle-based Safeco will be hosting a live Internet broadcast of its regularly scheduled conference call to discuss second-quarter financial results.

The conference call will be held at 10 a.m., EST on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006. The call also will be archived later in the day for replay at http://www.safeco.com/irwebcast.
