Venture Insurance Expands Workers’ Comp in California

Venture Insurance Programs, a national program administrator announced that its Preferred Club Program has added a new workers’ compensation market in California through ICW Group.

The ICW Group is rated “A-” IX by A.M. Best Co. The Preferred Club Program is an insurance provider to the golf and country club industry, insuring private, semi-private and upscale daily-fee clubs with package and workers’ compensation programs. Workers’ compensation coverage for the Preferred Club Program through ICW is available only in California.

The workers’ compensation program features risk-based pricing, specialized loss prevention services, managed care services, claims handling and a special investigations unit to combat fraud.

In addition to workers’ compensation, the Preferred Club Program offers directors and officers, property, general liability, property of members, herbicide and pesticide coverage with full pollution options, tee-to-green coverage of all playing surfaces, liquor liability, excess and umbrella liability, cart fleet and errant ball coverage, and business interruption coverage.

The Preferred Club Program is marketed exclusively through agents and brokers, and offers risk management services, including loss control and claims administration, through Venture and Chubb Services.
