Cambridge General Offers Enhanced Coverage for Third-Party Theft Losses
Cambridge General Agency has introduced a new crime coverage that can be added to home health care risks on a package basis, along with the general liability, property, inland marine and professional liability coverages the company offers. The new coverage is available in California and is designed to protect the insured’s in the event one or more of their employees steal items from their clients after providing “in home” services. Coverage will be added to the ocmpany’s crime coverage part on a package basis. Third-party theft is not available on a stand alone basis.
Limits are $10,000 each occurrence, $20,000 annual aggregate. Sublimits are $5,000 for money, securities, precious metals or gems, etc. Deductible is $1,000 per occurrence. Rates are based on the number of employees.
Coverage is being offered by a nonadmitted carrier, rated “A,” VIII by A.M. Best.
