Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation Hosts Networking and Educational Program/Benefit
The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation based in Walnut Creek, Calif., will present a networking and educational program on Thursday, May 11 at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, Calif., with the proceeds benefitting the Insuring the Children program. Reception begins at 4:00 p.m., followed by presentations from 5:15 – 7:30 p.m.
Speakers and topics include:
* Robert Danzig, CEO, Hearst Newspapers, speaking about “Common Seeds in Harvesters of Hope”
*Jim Woods, managing partner at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Green & MacRae, LLP, speaking on “Insurance Issues Arising from Hurricane Katrina.”
Tickets are $150 per person. Price includes Library admission, cocktail reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres, and speaker presentations. Guests are welcome to arrive early to enjoy the exhibits and gallery tours. Proceeds will benefit the Insuring the Children program of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect in Orange County, Calif.
