Monarch E&S Announces New Appointments

Derek Borisoff, CEO and president of Monarch E&S Insurance Services has announced that Lance Amick has been hired as the branch manager/senior underwriter of the San Diego branch office.

Amick’s responsibilities include underwriting for the pen facilities, placing brokerage business and servicing the agent base in the
San Diego office. Amick most recently served as the senior underwriter/team leader for Century Surety Insurance Company in Arizona. Amick brings 13 years of insurance experience to his new
role as branch manager.

Additionally, Marjie Amick will assume the role as underwriter for the San Diego office. She most recently served as an underwriter for Century Surety Insurance Company.

At the same time, Lorraine Hernandez will assume the role as underwriter assistant for the San Diego office.
