Kingsley Elected President of the Professional Insurance Agents of Oregon/Idaho
Richard Kingsley, owner of Stayton-based Cammack-Kingsley Insurance Inc., has been elected president-elect of the Professional Insurance Agents of Oregon/Idaho, a trade association that represents more than 2,300 independent insurance agents and agency staff in Oregon and Idaho. He served as president-elect of the organization prior to becoming president.
Kingsley, an insurance agent for 29 years, purchased Cammack Insurance Inc. (now Cammack-Kingsley) with wife Pam in 1995. Kingsley recently purchased the Davis-Darley Insurance Agency and relocated to 318 N 3rd Avenue in Stayton.
He served on the Stayton City Council from 1976 to 1980, served on the Stayton Planning Commission from 1981 to 1985, served as the first Cablevision Commission Chairman for six years, was appointed to the Stayton-Sublimity Chamber of Commerce in 1996 and served as chairman of the Chamber’s Design Committee for one year, and was instrumental in starting the project of installing City of Stayton Entrance Signs.
