Davis Joins Discover Re as Western Regional Manager

Gray Davis, a 16-year veteran of the insurance industry, has been named western regional manager for Discover Re, the alternative risk transfer operation of The St. Paul Companies.

Based in San Francisco, Davis will lead a Discover Re staff responsible for business in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Alaska and Hawaii.

Davis previously was resident vice president for the western region for Kemper Insurance Company, a post he assumed in 1999. Prior to joining Kemper, he held several positions in the United States and internationally with the Hartford Insurance Group.
