Wexler Named EVP at Calif.-based Balboa Group

Irvine, Calif.-based Balboa Insurance Group announced the appointment of Howard Wexler as executive vice president, secretary & general counsel.

Wexler will be responsible for overseeing the legal and compliance areas for Balboa and its subsidiaries. He previously served with several affiliates of Fortis Inc. as executive vice president and general counsel for Assurant Group, and as president & CEO of Auto Lenders Acceptance Corporation and Superior Insurance Company.
