Seminars Slated for Calif., Wash.
Insurance Skills Center recently filed a new seminar on “Terrorism and Insurance” with the Departments of Insurance in Calif., Nevada, Oregon, and Washington for 4 CE credits.
The class will look at issues relating to terrorism (war risk), hostile act from a historical perspective, along with looking at the coverage and exclusions as they have emerged in the various markets. The class will finish with an overview of present underwriting philosophies and risk management procedures, along with analyzing those areas of loss control and risk transfer and their changes.
Classes will be held July 19 in Bellevue, Wash., Aug. 8 in West Los Angeles, Dec. 10 in San Francisco, and Dec. 12 in Diamond Bar.
