RPNI, IBA Announce Worldwide Alliance
California-based RiskProNet Intl., Inc. (RPNI), a network of 26 premier independent insurance brokers located throughout the United States and Canada; and The International Insurance Brokers Association (IBA), a worldwide network of leading independent brokers, have formed a strategic alliance to enhance their international client services.
The alliance further extends the capabilities of each network to service their international clients. It also increases both networks’ presence and expertise in the global market. The alliance, which represents a combined force of 57 member companies and more than $8.5 billion in premium in 100 countries worldwide, will enable members of both RPNI and IBA to offer international expertise combined with personalized local service.
RPNI Board Chairman Steve Tanner stated that “From our very beginning, RPNI’s Board of Directors has sought a strategic partner to assist our members in meeting the needs of clients with international exposures. With IBA we have true partners in a direct agency-to-agency relationship who are as dedicated to helping our clients as we are to helping theirs.”
IBA Board Chairman Jurgen Schlensog added, “This alliance significantly strengthens IBA’s position in the U.S. market.
“More importantly, for both organizations, the synergies are tangible and sustainable. The alliance is clear confirmation that independent networks are powerful solutions and competitive risk management tools for mid-level brokers in the international market place.”
