Calif. Insurance Executive Leaves Firm for Non-Profit Sector
Greg Gallion, current vice president of American Title Co. in Bakersfield, Calif. will become chief executive of the nonprofit blood bank Houchin Blood Services where he has served as a board member for four years.
Gallion, 50, is taking over for Amanda Mason, who has been Houchin’s interim CEO since September.
Houchin Blood Services was founded in 1951 by a group of local physicians. It employs approximately 70 part-time and full-time workers at its two Bakersfield locations and an office in Ridgecrest.
