Wasatch Crest Lays Off 41 Employees
Wasatch Crest Group Inc., Utah’s second largest workers’ compensation insurer, recently announced the layoff of 41 employees, representing one-third of its workforce. According to Wasatch, the layoffs are due to a planned outsourcing of health policy administration and claim functions at the company.
Wasatch Crest Group consists of six entities including: Wasatch Crest Insurance Co.; Wasatch Crest Casualty Insurance Co.; First Continental Life & Accident Insurance Co.; Wasatch Crest Mutual Insurance Co.; Electric Mutual Benefit Association; and LWP Claims Administrators Corp.
