ACE Raises $1.4 Million for City of Hope
In a fundraising campaign spearheaded by ACE Limited’s Chairman and CEO Brian Duperreault, $1.4 million was raised for breast cancer research.
Duperreault chaired the 2000 “Spirit of Life” campaign on behalf of City of Hope, a Los Angeles-based organization at the forefront of research to find a cure for breast cancer. Duperreault was presented with the 2000 “Spirit of Life” Award at a gala dinner in Chicago on Nov 9.
According to Steve Solton, City of Hope chief development officer, ACE has not only raised a record amount, but also “raised the bar for this annual initiative.”
