People: Builders Insurance Names Jasmund Board Chairman
Atlanta-based Builders Insurance Group has named David Jasmund, a longtime board member and investment banker, as chairman of the board.
Jasmund succeeds Charles Potok, who retired last month after three years as chairman, the company said in a news release.
Jasmund has served on the Builders board since 2009. Since 1997, he also has served as managing director of PCE Investment Bankers, based in Orlando. Before that, he co-founded a group of insurance companies that have grown to more than 1,200 associates. His Linkedin page shows he was president and owner of Executive Risk Consultants and PCA, a property-casualty insurance firm.
“David brings an exceptional combination of insurance, financial and governance experience to this role,” said Todd Campbell, president and CEO of Builders.
Builders said it is a super-regional property-casualty insurer specializing in workers’ compensation, commercial insurance and construction risks, in business for more than 30 years.
