Hub Acquires Wade Associates in North Carolina

Hub International Ltd., a global insurance brokerage and financial services firm, has acquired Wade Associates, an independent agency with offices in North Carolina.

Wade has specialized in property/casualty insurance for construction, manufacturing, health care and technology sectors, Hub said in a news release. Cheryl Nabell is president. She and the Wade team will now be part of Hub Carolinas and the agency will be known as Wade Associates LLC, a Hub International company.

Wade has offices in Davidson, New Bern, Raleigh and Wilmington, North Carolina.

Hub, headquartered in Chicago, said it offers risk management, insurance, employee benefits, retirement and other products. It has more than 18,000 employees around North America.
