Alliant Insurance Services, a major American distributor and brokerage headquartered in California, continues building its Southeastern US presence. It has named attorney Bobby Coleman of Mississippi as vice president of the Alliant Americas division, and Mike Griggs of Tennessee as senior vice president of the division, the company said in a news release.
Coleman, who lives in Jackson, Mississippi, has 27 years as an insurance defense lawyer, including workers’ compensation defense and real estate matters. He also operated a title company and holds a law degree from the University of Mississippi.
Coleman will design and manage insurance and risk management plans for clients in the region.
Griggs, based in Nashville, joins Alliant after almost 20 years in the insurance business, including most recently as senior vice president at a global insurance brokerage. He will focus on designing and implementing property and casualty insurance strategies, Alliant said.
