World Insurance Associates Acquires The Walker Agency of South Carolina

World Insurance Associates LLC (WIA) has acquired The Walker Agency, Inc of Anderson (d/b/a Palmetto Insurance) of Anderson, S.C. on October 1, 2020. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Palmetto Insurance is a property & casualty focused agency, specializing in auto, home, homebuilders, umbrella, and life insurance.

According to Keith Roberts, Partner at Palmetto Insurance, joining WIA will allow the company to offer an additional suite of services to clients.

Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla provided legal counsel to WIA and MarshBerry advised WIA on the transaction. Basi, Basi & Associates provided legal counsel to Palmetto Insurance and Agency Brokerage Consultants advised on the transaction. No other advisors, diligence firms, or legal counsel were disclosed.
