Kentucky-Based ClearPath Mutual Appoints Fallahay, Korsan as VPs
The Board of Directors of ClearPath Mutual Insurance Co. has appointed Kevin Fallahay as the company’s vice president of Claims, and Robert Korsan as the vice president of Underwriting.
Fallahay previously held the role of director of Claims since 2015. He joined the company when it was KESA, The Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Fund, as Claims Manager in 1996. Fallahay has 36 years of experience in insurance, and 29 years of management experience. He also previously served in the Governor’s Task Force for Utilization Review and as a member of the Board for Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Education Association.
Korsan joined ClearPath Mutual in February 2019 as the director of Underwriting. Prior to starting his position at ClearPath Mutual, Korsan held the position of chief underwriting officer at McNeil and Company in Cortland, N.Y.
Korsan’s career has included leadership roles with Builders Insurance Group, Mutual Benefit Group, Harleysville Insurance Companies, Bituminous Insurance Companies, and Reliance Insurance Companies.
ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company began operations on Jan. 1, 2018, and is domiciled in Louisville, K.Y. ClearPath Mutual is a monoline workers’ compensation insurance carrier with approximately 7,300 policyholders and nearly $54 million in premiums. ClearPath Mutual is also licensed in Tennessee and plans to begin writing workers’ compensation coverage there by the end of 2019.
