Renaissance Alliance Insurance Services Expands to Florida

Renaissance Alliance Insurance Services, a membership alliance for independent insurance agencies, has expanded into Florida and has added two Miami agencies to the group, as well as made two senior appointments in the region.

The two Miami-area agencies – NEA Insurance Group, LLC, and Avante Insurance Agency – joined the Alliance during its first month of operations in Florida. In addition, nine regional insurance markets have partnered with the Alliance, supplementing the 45 carriers currently in the Alliance network.

In addition, Renaissance Alliance is building a local team supported by its existing infrastructure, expertise, technology and 80-plus staff members.

Two senior appointments have been named to lead the local Alliance team:

• Oscar Miniet was named executive vice president, Southeast Region. Miniet has 30 years of independent agency experience in the Florida insurance markets and will grow the Alliance membership and its roster of strategic southeast regional and national brokers and carriers.
• Manuel Ruiz was named vice president Southeast Operations. Ruiz has more than 30 years of experience in agency management, commercial insurance, claims and risk management. His focus will be enabling Alliance members grow, profit, and optimize agency valuation.
