TriSure Corp. of North Carolina Acquired by Alera Group

TriSure Corporation has been acquired by Alera Group, a national insurance firm, effective March 1, 2019. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

With over 1,500 employees in more than 70 locations across the nation, Alera Group offers employee benefits, property and casualty insurance, risk management, and wealth management.

TriSure is a risk management firm specializing in commercial property and casualty insurance for businesses with extensive expertise in construction, commercial real estate, HOAs and bonding.

All TriSure employees will continue operating out of the firm’s existing location in Raleigh, North Carolina under the name TriSure Corporation, an Alera Group Company, LLC.

Alera Group, based in Deerfield, Ill., is an independent insurance agency formed in early 2017.
