Alabama Department of Insurance Launches Online Help Chat for Agents, Consumers
The Alabama Department of Insurance has launched a new online chat to offer consumers another avenue to have their insurance questions answered quickly.
Representatives are now available at www.aldoi.gov to help with common insurance-related questions. The chat box is located at the bottom right corner of the page.
Staff can assist with inquiries regarding life and health as well as property and casualty insurance issues. Insurance agents with questions are also welcome to participate.
The chat is staffed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. After hours, users can leave a message and a staff member will get back to them the next business day.
The Alabama Department of Insurance’s mission is to serve the people of Alabama by regulating the insurance industry, providing consumer protection, promoting market stability, and enforcing fire safety standards and laws.
