Yacht Valued at $135K Stolen From Alabama Marina
Authorities are investigating after they say someone stole a $135,000 yacht in Orange Beach, Ala.
Police say the 42-foot Sea Ray called “Tide Runner” was taken from the Wharf Marina. WKRG-TV says the incident was reported July 4.
The owners of the boat were selling it and had left the keys on board so that the management company could show it to potential buyers and take it on test drives.
Police say the boat could be hundreds of miles away on the Gulf Coast or East Coast.
Marine police agencies from Texas to Florida as well as the Coast Guard have been alerted.
