Worker Killed at Colgate-Palmolive Plant in South Carolina
Authorities say a 51-year-old worker has been killed after a pressurized hose broke loose at the Colgate-Palmolive plant in Greenwood, S.C.
Greenwood County Coroner Sonny Cox told media outlets that Billy Alexander of Aiken died after an aluminum pipe hit him in the upper body around 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11.
Cox says he ruled the death an accident after an autopsy. Cox says paramedics performed CPR on Alexander, but he died at the hospital not long after he was struck.
